CommandBindings to TaskDialog buttons

Jul 10, 2009 at 4:01 PM

Hi,

is it possible to add commandbindings to TaskDialog buttons?

Yes, but only if you use actual instances of buttons instead of TaskDialogButtonData. For example:

<TaskDialog>

   <TaskDialog.Buttons>

        <Button />

...

or in code:

var dialog = new TaskDialog { Buttons = { new Button() } };

Hi,

why doesn't CanExecute work, i.e. why isn't the button disabled if the condition isn't met?

Also, when can we expect a new release of this excellent lib?

Edit: Never mind it works now.

Thanks for the compliment. I have plans to release a new version of the library, but I never get around to it. I've been working on a very cool new control (actually doing some extensive rework on a control previously released by MS - with permission of course). When it's ready, I'll post a new version (along with some other long due fixes).

If you have any issues or suggestions, please feel free to send them along.

A property grid (http://wpg.codeplex.com/) and embedded controls would be nice (http://www.actiprosoftware.com/Products/DotNet/WPF/Editors/Default.aspx check "Innovative Features").
